The administration department oversees a variety of municipal functions. They handle the day-to-day financial and managerial responsibilities under the direction of the mayor and city council. The administration department works closely with the City's elected officials, other departments, vendors, and consultants to ensure the City is running smoothly and efficiently.
The employees within this department are also responsible for the preparation of meetings, including but not limited to creating meeting agendas, conducting research on agenda items, drafting ordinances and resolutions, providing recommendations to the mayor and city council, and taking detailed minutes of the proceedings.
The administration department strives to continuously improve the operation of City business and welcomes input from the public on how to achieve that goal.
